How to correctly wear a cream blush

Creme blushes are the best ways to achieve a natural, dewy glow. The trick is, when applied properly it could look as if you’re not wearing blush at all, just fresh-faced!

Ideally stick to choosing more neutral earthy tones or colours closer to your skin tone like Tan, Coral, Peach, Pink and Beige to avoid your cheeks from looking drastically bright.

Check out this super simple 2 step process to achieve a flawless glow-from-within kinda look-

Step 1: Apply two dots of liquid blush to the apples of your cheek using your finger.

You can also get great application with a cosmetic sponge or blending brush. Make sure you apply liquid blush after your moisturizer and liquid foundation, but before your powder foundation. The powder texture can make your blush application messier and more difficult to manage.

Step 2:  The key factor in applying cream blush is timing. Immediately after applying the dots to your cheek, quickly blend upward and out. Don’t pause between steps because the liquid blush will dry before you can blend it in properly, creating the streaking effect.

#beautyhack for beginners- if you don’t already own a crème blush, you could always use a lipstick to create the same effect or mix in some moisturizer with your powder blush to create a DIY crème blush within seconds!

The only reason you must refrain from crème blushes if you suffer from excessively oily skin. This may interfere with the natural oils like sebum, produced by your skin, ultimately resulting in clogged pores. It may also end up creasing on your skin. Using crème blushes would be probably be a blessing in disguise for women with dry to normal skin, as its super hydrating. There’s no real need for even a moisturizer.
